How long will it take?

As a general rule of thumb, a couple of tapes take a couple of days, small orders of around 10 tapes take about a week. The exact amount of time depends on the number of tapes and how busy we are so best bet is to get in touch and we can give you an accurate estimate.

If you are in a rush, and need something ASAP, get in touch and I am sure we can help out – contact us.

The job can be time intensive and if you have a hundred hours of video it is going to take a hundred hours of video capture to get them on our machines before we can start processing them. Then, it is going to take another hundred or so hours to convert to DVD. That said, we have a large array of workstations and if you have a larger job we can run it on multiple machines. Where you have a large order with hundreds or even thousands of tapes we can run the orders on multiple machines to process the job in batches at a speed to suit your requirements.

Whatever your requirement, from a single tape upwards, get in touch and we can tailor a solution to your needs

Do we use USB turntables for converting vinyl?

We do not use USB turntables, we have experimented with them and came to the conclusion that we would not put our precious vinyl on these cheap systems so we certainly would not put yours on them.

The turntables and cartridges we use are as follows:

Goldring lenco GL 75 with Goldring G800 Cartridge
Goldring Lenco GL72 with Goldring G800 Cartridge
Goldring lenco GL 75 with Shure M55E cartridge
Thorens TD 150 with SME Arm and Shure M75E cartridge

If you have any other questions or would like any more information please contact us.

Ultimately, we are lovers of vinyl and cheap USB turntables do not love your Vinyl – use these kind of systems with precious vinyl at your own risk.
